Inspired by New York’s vibrant, edgy and slightly naughty Hell’s Kitchen district, BackCOUNTER will open on February 12th, 2015.

With its own bar, this separate dining and entertainment area will be open from Thursday to Sunday (at least), and seats up to 75 guests
across a mix of table and at-the-counter seating. Our full range of food, wines, cocktails, craft beers and other drinks will be served,
and weekends will see an exciting programme of brunches with live entertainment. BackCOUNTER is accessed from its own
entrance on South Lambeth Road or by walking through the main COUNTER brasserie.

BackCOUNTER’s entrance is only minutes walk from many of Vauxhall’s renowned gay and mixed nightlife venues including
The Eagle, Fire and The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, making it a great place to start off your evening with fabulous cocktails and food.

Dubbed Deco meets Disco, the look and ambiance are a trend-setting take on glamour. They combine the heritage of Vauxhall’s historic reputation for pleasure-seeking with the emerging skyline and recent development projects in the area. Glittering antiqued mirrors and a palette of lacquered grey tones are highlighted with brass detailing and custom-made lighting and set off against reclaimed teak floors.
